“Hurry, before it’s too late!”
“I’m trying to hurry, but the jeep can only go so fast you know!”
“I don’t care! If we don’t hurry, there could be another death.”
“Shoot, the rainbow’s fading!”
“Oh god, that means there’s already been a death…”
“Hold on, I’m going to take a short cut through here.”
“Wait, but that’s the… bamboo forest…”
“You know what’s strange? Every time we have this kind of case, we never seem to be able to arrive on time. Every time we see the rainbow, the person has already been struck. Interestingly enough, there’re never premonitions beforehand; no rain or storm of any kind, so we can never predict this. And every single time, by the time we reach the rainbow, it’s always right before it disappears, taking all evidence with it. While others nearby could investigate, they can’t reach it, not even the corpse. Only we can investigate this, though we never arrive on time.”

“Yes… It seems to be challenging us, or rather, mocking us, isn’t it? The killer rainbow… I’ll solve this mystery even if I have to bet my own life to do so.”

Again, another fragment of a dream of mine. In this case there're a series of murders where there's always a flowing rainbow hovering eerily above the victims. (I think this was caused by watching .hack//sign) To make the matters worse every time we arrive at the scene of the crime the rainbow is just about to disappear, and there're no evidences of how the victim died. And we drive a jeep through bamboo forests to get to the crime scene. 8D

This is on par with the KILLER RAINBOW theme from my 100 theme challenge. :3
