                  Mothers

They say that mothers are kind,
They say that mothers are wise,
They say that mothers are like a gentle breeze,
Caressing her children like it does a leaf.

They say that mothers are forgiving,
They say that mothers are loving,
They say that mothers are like a gentle stream,
Nurturing her children like it does a tree.

They say that mothers are the symbol of love,
They say that mothers always understand,
The goods and faults of her dear child.

But alas!
Whay are mothers praised so?
What makes them so great that poets woe?
Okay, despite all the lovely praises I had done in the first three verses, I'm actually questioning the liability of them. I wonder, just to what lengths will a mother go for her child, and under what circumstances. Personally, my mother isn't the understanding or sensible type, so I really don't see these praised qualities in her at all. And I also know that the poem is probably in the wrong section... =>.>=''''
